February

Apparently I have become a once a month blogger-which is fine, at least I make an attempt right?

I was talking on the phone one day to my mom and Layla came out of my room dressed like this...she loves attempting to dress herself lately-or take things off.

Whenever we are bored here in So Cal we just head over to Disneyland. I know that sounds crazy to most people, and we realize how lucky we are. However it is really one of the cheapest things for us to do when we are bored! We were bored enough this night that I was even talked into riding on the teacups...

Max claims that Handy Manny tried to spit on him when he gave him a hug-
We were talked into going on the big pirate ship ride-Max loved it. Most of the time when we go to Disneyland we just let Max decide what we do. He is the only one who really cares.

This is from World of Color. That show is amazing! We didn't get there in time to get tickets to the 8:00 show so it was late. Max was so tired he had to rest his head on top of Cody's. It was pretty cute...tired kids are just HEAVY-which leads to backs and arms that are sore afterwards!

My brother Joel and his wife Claire invited me and the kids on a  crazy fast road trip up to Utah to go to the BYU v UNLV basketball game. I knew it wouldn't be the best roadtrip in the world (10 hrs with 2 kids!) but we did it. My kids were amazingly good for all the driving and messed up sleeping schedules. It made me a little grumpy...and just overwhelmed! It would have been a little better if I had had my mate with me to help me double team the kids-but my wonderful dad did a pretty good job helping me out. It was a great game in the end and fun to see my family even if it was just for one day. It kind of makes me sad whenever I go and do stuff like this, because I can't help but think about all the stuff we miss out on by living so far away. However, we just do what we have to do and make the most of it right?

Jimmer....it is hard not to get excited when you see him-he is awesome. However somebody needs to tell him to not tuck his warm up into his shorts....I don't care how good at basketball you are this just doesn't look good!

Mr Max at the game. Every time we watch a game on TV two things happen-one he turns into a cougar and snarls at me the whole time and second he always asks to go to a game and watch it live...its hard to say no to this little face.

Max and his cousins with Cosmo. Good thing Spencer is in the picture so I got at least one good smile!

This picture makes that whole crazy road trip worth it! We were on our way home and my kids were exhausted and I looked over and they were holding hands....ahhhhh these little moments make all the crazy moments seem not so bad!

Jimmer looks almost like a Wagstaff in that picture.

I'm seriously getting misty-eyed over here! That picture of Max holding Layla's hand is so precious! Parker needs a sister!

The picture of Max and Layla definitely had me in tears - although thats not hard these days! And believe me - you really don't miss out on as much stuff as you imagine. Although the boys probably do a lot of stuff with peeps that we miss out on too (they are debbie's favorites after all;). Honestly we probably do the most when you guys come up. . . Too bad spencer is the only one looking at the camera in that picture! Oh and cosmo.
