Our House

I have been waiting and waiting to post pictures of our house because it is never all clean/painted/decorated and so I didn't want to take pictures-however, today I realized that those three things would never all occur at once so I just decided to take the pictures and get it over with! We have been living here a little over two months and we love it. It is a lot more work than our old house-it takes three times longer to clean...and we have a yard that is small but it still takes a lot of time! Maybe when the yard starts coming together I will take pictures of it! It has been a good move we are getting acquainted with our new ward...it just takes time but I am sure it will soon feel like home!

The outside...it didn't take a full blown picture, probably because I was too lazy to cross the street, and also I don't want all the bad guys out there to know exactly what my house looks like!

When we first moved in I almost dug up because the plant was soo ugly. Luckily I didn't because these awesome red lilies burst out of the ugly plant. There is a good parable to life in that short story.

Max with the flowers...he needs pictures taken on a regular basis.

When you walk into the front door you enter the formal living/dining room area. We decided to just make it a big living area since we would rarely use a formal dining room. We were blessed to inherit a piano from a co-worker of my Uncles...so now I have no excuse and I am trying to rediscover my piano playing skills.
If you turn to your left when you walk in the door there is a bathroom and also Cody's office. I decided this picture of Max standing in the office was more exciting than a picture of a computer and filing cabinets.

If you walk straight through the living area you come back to the family/kitchen rooms. These rooms were both clean at one point, but by the time three o'clock came around and I had been cleaning all day I decided to give up!

The dining area ( I can't believe I am really posting this, it is really embarrassing how cluttered the counter is.)

The Kitchen, with my favorite room in the whole house, the walk in pantry.

The toy/guest room...it is a really cozy and comfortable room  just waiting for visitors! (hint hint)

Max's room-still needs painted and decor. It  also needs black out curtains because it is soooo bright here early in morning. I however am scared of curtains and so we haven't purchased them yet, so for now the kids have blankets hanging in their windows.

Layla's room, still needs painting and yes we are very patriotic.

The master room. We love it and it still needs decorated. My room is rarely all the way clean because it is the last place I get to and it is also the dumping grounds. I need a maid! Another thing I could use is someone to shop with to help me decorate-I have no skills in that area!

The Master bath. It was also clean but then Layla needed an emergency bath after visiting home depot because she somehow became covered in dirt...which is why there are bottles on the tub, and yes it was yesterday but I haven't taken them back to the kids bathroom yet!

My little stinker in the back yard. I didn't put in pictures of boring things like the laundry, kids bath, garage etc...but if you feel you really need to see those let me know and I will email them to you!

It looks really nice! Hopefully someday I can see it in person.
