The following is a picture presentation of how you can let your mom know you are not happy about the situation, without saying any words and little to no whining-taught by boy genius who figured this out at 4 months of age, Max.
Here he sits looking happy and cute with his daily supply of slobber on his chin. 
Slowly he begins to express his dissatisfaction by doing some very skillful maneuvered back arches.
Next for added flare he throws in some double leg kicks, the kicks also speed up the arrival to his destination of choice.
Upon reaching his final destination he makes sure not to smile even though inside he is celebrating his victory in ruining mom's pictures; also he is pretty sure she will soon pick him up and start involving him in more interesting activities-like eating dinosaurs.
