Last Saturday was a pretty momentous day in the life of Maxwell-he went to his first BYU football game. The weather was perfect for it also, which was nice because my child is a white boy, just like his dad. Max loved it, there was so much to look at, and he just kicked his feet to the beat from the band. He did start to get a bit grumpy by the fourth quarter so Cody took him under the stadium and he fell asleep. It was perfect timing for a nap too, because about five minutes after they left it started to rain. All in all it was a great day-made only better by my boys at BYU finally playing like they should and getting a victory.
After the football game we went to Los Hermanos to celebrate Nathan's 13th birthday with my family, and grandparents. It was especially exciting because Joel brought his woman friend, who from what I could tell is definitely a winner-so just so he knows Shirley's all approved!
