Easter Weekend

This last weekend we headed up to Utah to attend of Cody's old roommate's wedding reception and then to celebrate Easter with my family. We went to my Granparent's house on Saturday for Easter festivities and also to celbrate my Grandpa's birthday. It was a wonderful day-I love being able to spend time with family, especially on such a great holiday. I love Easter and what it symbolizes, and also the Hope we all have because of what the Savior sacrificed for us! My mom showing my nephew where some more eggs were hidden-she cracks me up! For some reason this picture reminds me of camping on the coast of Washington and how she ran down the beach and jumped up and down because we spotted some whales...what a fun mom!
Max holding onto his egg that he picked up all by himself...I think he had at least one egg in his hand all day long.
Joel looking for eggs-with him hunting the eggs it turned into a full contact sport as he would try to tackle Nate and steal his big eggs or just run by our baskets and grab them out of it-the big eggs had the best candy in them according to Grandpa.Tanner showing off his basket.
Super Grandpa-who is always willing to take one of his grandsons-except for when there is a suspicious smell coming from the diaper.
Max coloring on his own egg.
My cute grandparents, decorating the cupcakes.
Joel and Claire-who are now engaged and are getting married on June 13!

Tanner was really into dying the eggs-he would even put eggs that were already done back into the dye to make them better.

It looks like you had so much fun! p.s. I love reading your comments when I blog stalk. They always make me laugh. Reminds me of high school and you were so funny with such a unique sense of humor! I always picture you wrapping a noodle around yourself (was it a noodle? something silly) and jumping in the pool and it makes me laugh. Anyway, happy easter!
