The last week

Since we have been mostly at home the last week and a half all we have to show for our time are pictures of Layla and Max....I know there are some out there (grandparents!) who will not mind but for others who get sick of looking at my kids I appologize!

Max loves his sister, he always wants to give her hugs and pat her on the head. I try not to stress out about him being around her, but his head just looks so huge compared to her when he hugs her! I love this picture though, I have one almost identical of my sister hugging me like this when I was a baby!

In order to avoid middle of the night mom and Layla parties we have been waking her up around eight, and then she will stay awake for two to three hours and be ready for bed when we are. It has been working out great-and I love when her eyes are actually open and she just chills out and checks out the world around her.

Cody found this Cars shirt at Sams on sale so he got it for Max. Max LOVES it-and would probably wear it everyday if I would let him. I don't know what to think now that he actually has an opinion about what he wears, it may cause some early morning battle between mom and Max!

It is amazing how crazy I am about this little girl!

One day while my mom was still here helping us we were sitting in the living room just talking and Max was in the kitchen with his markers.....little did we know he was no longer drawing on paper.

Oh man! Am I a bad mom because I think I've only let Parker use markers maybe once in his almost three years? I think I need to let him be more creative. Were they washable at least? LOVE the pic of him hugging Layla! She is adorable!

Maybe some day you will get to where I am: when my kids insist on wearing a shirt every day, I finally just give in and let them. Especially in the summer. But then, I am about the laziest mom ever. Hey I'm glad that you knew "With 6 you get Eggroll," I knew we had bonds beyond swimteam!
