Christmas came and went like a whirlwind. We were lucky enough to have Cody's parents, and his sister's family come and stay with us for Christmas. It was fun to have family here with us and cousins here for our kiddos to play with.
Max with the cookies he decorated. I was impressed with his artistic abilities. He did these completely by himself.
We had to go to Bass Pro shop so the kids could see Santa-plus it is one of Grandpa's favorite stores so it was a win win situation.
We took a trip to the park on Christmas Eve with all the kids-they had some energy that needed to get used up!
After our little family home evening we opened up new pajamas. Max's jammies are covered in the Marvel comic characters. He was pretty much a super hero the rest of the night.
Layla, just sitting on some presents in her new Jessie and Bullseye jammies. I don't even ask her to explain what she is doing anymore-it is just Layla.
Cody's cute sister Angie-she and Cody look so much alike it is crazy!
I'm pretty sure that by now I was just counting down the minutes until it was bedtime. Look at Max's face, not quite sure how to interpret that smile!
Layla with her Tinkerbell.
Max or Ironman, you really never know who he is going to be. He just really liked all of his muscles.
Our family after church....pardon the glare!
Our little princess finally got a dress to show he true colors. It is a little immodest-but we can work with it.

Can't believe how much older the kids are getting! Layla is adorable! Max is such a stud! I love how much he's into super heros! Van still talks about Max teaching him karate on Halloween. He loved that. Take care lady!
